an imaginary computer for an alternate history of computing. boots straight into a shell. speaks its own language.

the package includes the emulator itself, a small operating system, the shell with its built-in programming language, and "snake" — written in that same language to show what the machine can do.

made for the curiosity of it. everything lives inside — the manual, the examples, the language to extend it. the shell opens to a prompt; try ls, then gaze.at '/a/codex/aldos_operators_manual.moff to read the manual from within the machine itself. (ctrl+q leaves the pager, in case you wonder.)
